It seems like we wait for these suckers all week and then they get here and then they are gone. This weekend however, we were not happily anticipating. Mainly because it was midterm week. I suppose I should rephrase. We are totally excited for sunday and monday. But so far our plans for today consist of the testing center so husband can take his calculus test, which he is gonna rock, nevertheless, the testing center still sucks. And then his cute self is gonna plant himself right into a chair at the library and not move until princess charming comes to rescue him at approximately five. Princess charming would be me. Ask husband. I am especially charming in the morning when I announce he needs to get out of bed and bring me home an ice cream cone. His response was pulling the covers over his head. So I took that as a no and am still currently waiting for that miracle. I on the other hand and going to sit right here in my pajamas and play catch up on a couple assignments in the comfort of my own bed. Lets be honest. I work better with a oversized tee and XL sweatpants on in my bed. I am sure some kind of important scientific study proves otherwise, you know that you work better in a designated area. But to them I say WRONGO. Now that we have discussed the negatives of midterms, lets discuss the positives. We are on a downward slope to the end of the semester. Which means: Deb and Rich, only the most hysterical parents ever, show their faces in this tiny town here in 40 days. Pao, Dal, Man and I leave for the first vacation ever in 47 days. And to answer your question. Yes, we are gonna draw those ridicules hearts in the sand with our intials in it and think we are so clever and precious. And last but not least Makenzie Marie Loefke will be here for second block in a mere 48 hours. This girl is an angel. Yes she flew from California to Wisconsin, not once, but twice in 2 months. All for the wedding. Once for the bridal shower and once for the actual wedding. She my dears, has a knack for decorating and making things beautiful. She and I have had quite the times together and I cannot wait for her to get her bum back here! It has been far to long. My question to you amazing people is: is it five yet? I am ready to get my weekend on. Hope your weekend is not full of test taking and playing catch up with your homework, rather, snowboarding down a mountain, booking the hotel for your trip and eating a delicious chocolate ice cream cone. You know I love ya!
